Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Kaleidoscope Behavior Analysis & Therapy, LLC was founded on the principles of Kindness, Brilliance, Accountability and Teamwork. In its next steps, Kaleidoscope is moving to provide more diversity, inclusion, and understanding to our clients and staff.
We believe inclusion of people from all walks of life is a priority. We serve children with ASD and their families, using the scientifically proven methods in ABA therapy to teach independent skills, and equipping them with the ability to tolerate novel situations and changes to their daily life, while encouraging children to embrace their individuality. Culture-informed care is a building block that our staff utilize everyday with each and every client, as well as placing a high priority on maintaining client dignity and autonomy. Kaleidoscope staff strive to go above providing equality to each client by instead reaching to provide equity through prioritizing that each child is given the tools which are the best fit to them and their needs to be successful.
Our efforts for inclusivity include staff training, staff committees formed to help give insights regarding staff opinions and outlooks, and staff meetings that encourage an open discussion of decisions that affect staff members and concerns they may have. Inclusivity within Kaleidoscope is not limited to racial and ethnic differences but also includes neurodivergence among staff members and allows them different ways to relate and guide clients through situations. Kaleidoscope staff actively cultivate diversity because it helps our clients have a more varied worldview and helps them to create connections with others beyond their own experiences.
